The Temperature dependence of flow stress in copper and copper-aluminium alloys has been studied in this investigation. The data are evaluated in terms of Cottrell-Stokes ratio defined by (s) the ratio of flow stresses at two selected temperatures for the same internal structure, and (b) proportional change in flow stress per degree change in temperature for the same internal structure (Bullen and Rogers method) in order to evaluate the variation of short range and long range stresses with strain-hardening.
